Ashlee and Brenton had a gorgeous, detail filled wedding at the Talega Golf Club in San Clemente, Ca. The day couldn’t have been more perfect with a slight breeze and a bright blue skies. It was overcast and cold on the day we did their engagement session and it was looking to be the same on their wedding day, but the gods smiled down and gave us some sunshine.
Kerrie of Platinum Weddings by Kerrie coordinated yet another beautiful day, Kristin from The Treasured Petal really outdid herself with the florals, Katie of Beauty and the Beach made the girls look amazing, and of course I had my good friend Jeret Slack shooting with me that day. Be sure to check his blog in the coming weeks to check out his teasers as well.
We started off at Ashlee’s parents’ house for the getting ready pictures.

Ashlee incorporated a bird theme throughout her entire wedding and it was so cute! Here you can see the feathers included in her bouquet.

Ashlee looked absolutely stunning that morning thanks to Katie of Beauty and the Beach.

Ashlee putting the finishing touches while her Mother looks on. I love love love the next two shots! So perfect.

And sweet Tava was around to witness the hustle and bustle of wedding preparations. I think it wore her out just watching.

But look how lovely Ashlee looks as a bride.

Then we all headed over to Talega Golf Club for some wedding party portraits.

The guys had some fun with this one.

Ashlee and Brenton had such a touching ceremony. I enjoyed witnessing and capturing every sweet moment.

After the ceremony we all wandered onto the green and took some portraits of the entire wedding party. I particularly like this one. Everyone was all confused when I told them to look straight ahead and not smile. Not smile? Look straight? What? But you see, I have it all planned in my head to get pictures like this.

Then the wedding party was excused to party it up at cocktail hour while I snuck off with Ashlee and Brenton for some bride and groom portraits.

As I took these next two shots of Ashlee, Brenton was next to me commenting on his hot bride.
Yep, she’s hot.

Then we were escorted on a golfcart to some other areas of the golfcourse. We made our way to this romantic willow tree by the lake to finish off our session.

Bunnies! They were all over the grounds and were so tiny and cute! I wanted to stuff two into my camera bag to take home with me.

Check out the gorgeous details of their reception. I am so in love with the gigantic yellow mums! And the bird theme was carried out perfectly wouldn’t you say with the birdcage card box, the wood frames, birdie escort cards and nest atop their wedding cake? Jeret and I had a field day with all the awesome details of this wedding.

And I am now offering photobooth fun with on site printing so your guests can take home prints! If any of my current booked couples would like to add a photobooth to your package please email me for special rates! Here’s me and Kerrie in on the action! They’re so much fun!
