Lawrence, Therese and I met for lunch at a Peruvian restaurant in the area and chatted about everything from food to photography to fashion to pregnancy symptoms. I think Lawrence learned more than he wanted to know about pregnancy just from our little chat. It was a kick back sort of day where we all pretty much played hooky to do a little shoot. There was no styling, no props, no location decided upon in advance. It was just for fun. And it was fun. Therese played our model and so we turned it into a portrait/maternity session. Lawrence bought is DSLR and I brought my Contax 645 and some film. We walked and talked, took turns shooting, swapped cameras and did a lot of laughing.
These were all shot on the Contax 645 on Fuji 400H film and developed and scanned by Richard Photo Lab. Aren’t the colors so dreamy? Love! And as a side note, these were taken on a sunny afternoon around 2:00. Film handles beautifully even in bright light.
Lawrence with my camera taking a picture of me shooting Therese with his camera. Did you get that?
