Meet the gorgeous Miss T. She was the amazing hair and makeup artist for my Palm Springs boudoir marathon earlier this month. When I finished shooting all the girls on Saturday we found ourselves with a bit of lingering light so Miss T decided to jump in on the action. She’s a beautiful girl inside and out and it was so much fun shooting her. She literally was up for anything and open to any ideas we had for her. I love the retro feel of this first set. Very Bridget Bardot, don’t you think? The beaded hair flower was made by Linda Ly of Grand Soirees. I love it!
We had some seriously pretty light in the master bedroom at the end of the day which made me so giddy. I love how simple and stunning these bedroom images are.
The light in her hair and eyes is beautiful. The oversize peacock feather hair piece was designed by Linda!
I’m beginning to love and appreciate black and white photography so much! These next few were shot on Kodak TriX film. I shot a mix of digital and film all weekend and had all my film developed and scanned by the amazing people at Richard Photo Lab.
A big huge thank you goes out to Linda Ly of Grand Soirees and Events for putting together this boudoir session in Palm Springs for me! You have the most amazing ideas and the styling, props, and outdoor swing were so awesome!! What would I do without you? Seriously people, if you need an event planned to the nines, you should contact Linda!
For the techies out there, I shot with: Contax 645, Canon 1v, Canon 5DmkII, Fuji 400H, Fuji 800Z and Kodak TriX .
