I love Hilda and John! Hilda and I bonded over Marc Jacobs cross body bags and John had me at “I’m a chef.” 
I had so much fun with these two in downtown LA shooting their engagement session. We started off at Union Station and then made our way to a park near Hilda’s office. I really like the mix of the two locations and they look so great on film!
I’m keeping this short since I have to be up in a couple of hours to get Ellie ready for preschool. She started last week and it’s been a big transition for all of us. For those of you who follow me on Facebook I’m sure you’re up to date on the nerves and tears and fancy lunches already, but I’ll do a blog post soon.

Aren’t the colors here amazing? We found this little garden in the middle of all these sky rises and I just fell in love with all the colors. And it was totally surreal to be in this little garden surrounded on all sides by towering high rises. That’s totally LA for you!
